On May 15th, the staff and the residents were pleasantly surprised! The residents were able to go outside and see the Blue Angels fly over the hospitals and nursing homes. This was really special because the Blue Angels were showing their support for the Essential workers. The staff enjoyed an afternoon pick me up with Krispy Kreme Donuts, coffee and hot chocolate. 🍩☕
We also had a guitar player come by and play some uplifting music outside of the resident’s windows. This was especially nice to get through Hump Day with some great music. It really put a smile on the resident’s faces. ❤️😊
